Glen A. Gunderson, O.D.
Dr. Gunderson has practiced at the Arvada Vision & Eye Clinic for over 30 years. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from San Diego State University and his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern California College of Optometry. He practices general optometry including specialty contact lens fitting and ocular disease management. In addition to being an active member of the Colorado Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association, Dr. Gunderson has served as President of the Colorado Optometric Association and is a recipient of their Distiniguished Service Award. He and his wife Charlene have raised three children and now have six grandchildren.

John C. Cross, O.D.
Dr. Cross has been in practice with us for over 20 years. He attended Central Michigan University before receiving his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University. He practices general optometry including specialty contact lens fitting and ocular disease management. Dr. Cross has served on the Board of Trustees of the Colorado Optometric Association and is an active member of the Colorado and American Optometric Associations. Dr. Cross, his wife Jo, and their three children enjoy an active lifestyle together here in Arvada.

Stephen P. Bashford, O.D.
Dr. Bashford is an Arvada native, and graduate of Arvada West High School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University in 1999 and his Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State University in 2003. Dr. Bashford is fluent in Spanish. He practices general optometry with additional interest in specialty contact lens fitting and ocular disease management. He is an active member of the Colorado Optometric Association, Colorado Optometric Glaucoma Society, and a clinical examiner for the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. Dr. Bashford and his wife Deanna, enjoy golf and bicycling together. They live in Arvada with their four daughters.

Kent P. Bashford, D.O.
Dr.Bashford, our surgeon, grew up in Arvada, Colorado. He completed his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University, his Osteopathic medical degree at Des Moines University, his internship and residency at Ohio University, and his fellowship at Yale University. Dr. Bashford is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Colorado and enjoys teaching residents at the VA medical center in Denver. Dr. Bashford uses the latest techniques in cataract surgery and implant surgery. Dr. Bashford has a particular interest in advanced forms of glaucoma and new techniques in cataract surgery. Outside of medicine, Dr. Bashford enjoys the outdoors of Colorado and spending time with his wife and three children.
